Ignition Project

1. Apply by Email – Send your application to [ip@duncansdrivingschool.com], explaining your circumstances and why you would benefit from support. 
2. Provide Supporting Evidence – Applications must include documents to demonstrate need (see below for examples).
3. Review – Applications are assessed fairly by the Ignition Project team.
4. Award – Successful applicants will receive a fixed block of free or subsidised driving lessons.

Applicants may be asked to provide one or more of the following:

• Proof of benefits (e.g. Universal Credit, Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income Support)
• Referral letter from a school, college, training provider or employer
• Confirmation from a charity, social worker, or community organisation
• Other evidence of hardship or special circumstances (at our discretion)

• Hours are awarded as a set block, not unlimited tuition.
• Places are limited; not all applications will be successful.
• All personal information and evidence provided will be kept confidential and used only to assess applications.

We take your privacy seriously. Any information you provide to the Ignition Project will be used solely to assess your eligibility for subsidised or free driving lessons.

• What we collect:
  Personal details (e.g. name, date of birth, address, contact details) and supporting evidence (such as proof of benefits, student status, health information, or recent bank statements).
• Why we collect it:
  To fairly assess applications and determine suitability for support under the Ignition Project.
• How we store it:
  Information and documents are kept securely, accessible only to the Ignition Project team at Duncan’s Driving School.
• How long we keep it:
  Supporting evidence (including bank statements) is deleted within 30 days of a decision being made on your application. Basic application details (name, contact info, decision outcome) may be retained for internal records.
• Your rights:
  You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or request deletion.
